  • Trade Waste Vehicles

Trade waste vehicles can transport either non-recyclable or recyclable materials and are all fitted with bale forks for collecting bales of waste materials.

Recyclable materials are collected separately and processed into new items at a recycling plant.

Using waste that cannot be recycled as an energy source is one way to reduce the amount that is sent to landfill. Known as Waste to Energy (W2E), waste is transported to a riverside transfer station where it is taken directly by barge to an energy from waste plant in Kent, and energy is produced to power the City.

  • Food Truck

Food waste is notoriously wet so requires a particular type of vehicle to transport it.

The recycling process for food is called anaerobic digestion. It uses micro-organisms to break down food waste in the absence of oxygen, inside an enclosed system.

As it breaks down it gives off methane, which is collected and converted into biogas and used to generate electricity.

Residual materials is used as a soil enhancer.

  • Skip Vehicle

Skips, ranging from 14-20 yards, offer a number of benefits allowing you to store and dispose of large amounts of waste effectively and efficiently.

Thanks to their extra-large dimensions, Skips can accommodate a huge amount of waste.

They’re ideal for industrial and commercial waste disposal: Cardboard and paper, General waste, Glass, Plastics and Metals.
